Vranov nad Dyjí

Small town Vranov lies in the Dyje river valley, 22 km northwest of Znojmo. About 200 km far from Prague, 90 km from Brno and almost 100 km from Vienna.

Access roads to Vranov nad Dyjí mostly lead from Brno, Prague or Znojmo.

If you are coming from Brno (primary road No.53), turn right 2 km prior to Znojmo in the direction of Suchohrdly, Přímětice and Vranov (road No.408 - total cca 22 km). This way you will avoid Znojmo town centre.

From Prague (E59) it is best to turn in municipality of Vranovská Ves (road No. 398 - total cca 12 km).

When arriving from Znojmo, from the direction of border crossing at Hatě – Kleinhaugsdorf, after going through Znojmo town following the direction to Prague ( E59) after cca 4 km turn left to Vranov (road 408 – total cca 22 km)

Family Hotel Relax - how to get there

In Vranov nad Dyjí there are local orientation signs which will lead you from the access road from Znojmo or from a bus stop on the square right to the family hotel grounds. From the square turn sharp to the left (almost by 180 degrees under the restaurant Formosa - slightly downhill. You will get to a small park with a No entry sign which has a footnote saying – except those accommodated here. Go on along the Dyje river bank as far as the bridge. Turn left before the bridge and after 40m you are at a villa - Penzion Relax (single-storied building No. 243) – See the map with marked route.
